The France 2030 Research Program “Women’s and Couples’ Health” is organizing its first Fall School. This 2025 edition will focus on endometriosis, and will take place from November 3 to 7, 2025, in Rennes (France).
The European Fall School is an intensive and immersive week-long training course. It is designed to enable young researchers to develop cutting-edge knowledge of endometriosis with experts, renowned researchers and professionals from a wide range of disciplines.
This Fall School aims to enable participants to:

- Deepen their knowledge of endometriosis, its biological mechanisms and its clinical and societal implications
- Familiarize themselves with advanced research methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches applied to this disease
- Exchange with experts and other young researchers to enable participants to expand their scientific network
- Strengthen their academic and professional profile by acquiring essential skills for research and innovation in women’s health
Over the course of the week, endometriosis will be discussed from a number of angles: pathophysiology, management, pain, infertility and complementary therapies. French and international experts, clinicians and scientists, from various specialties (genetics, cellular and molecular biology, epidemiology, human and social sciences) will be present, and informal discussions will be possible during convivial moments. Small-group work will also be carried out to promote interaction between participants and encourage multidisciplinary thinking.

The Fall School is aimed at young researchers working on endometriosis: doctoral* or post-doctoral researchers in science, medicine, public health or the humanities and social sciences; medical interns; clinicians.
Candidates from France and all over Europe are invited to apply.
Candidates must have a good level of English.
* Candidates who have not started their doctorate at the time of application must be enrolled in a doctoral program by October 1, 2025 at the latest, and may be contacted at a later date to provide proof of funding.

Participation in the Fall School is free of charge for selected candidates and includes :

- Coverage of travel and accommodation expenses for the entire duration of the course, plus all meals.
